Steve Zemelman, whose new book, From Inquiry to Action: Civic Engagement with Project-Based Learning in All Content Areas, will publish in the Spring, is hosting a Twitter chat tonight (January 5) at 9:00 p.m. EST on the subject of actionable civics.

Steven Zemelman has worked in many capacities to promote the sustainability of innovative schools in Chicago. For eight years he directed the Center for City Schools at National-Louis University, and he is a founding director of the Illinois Writing Project. His most recent book is Subjects Matter, Second Edition, coauthored with Harvey "Smokey" Daniels.

His forthcoming book From Inquiry to Action: Civic Engagement with Project-Based Learning in All Content Areas will release in the Spring.
