Written by Katie Fabiano | Jul 3, 2019 6:06:30 PM

This summer, get engaged in the new Reading to Make a Difference Facebook group and book club! Authors Lester Laminack and Katie Kelly have created an online book club based off of their book, Reading to Make a Difference, in which teachers will have a space to collaborate and discuss the ideas and framework outlined in the book. Each week, discussion questions will be posted focusing on different chapters of the book and the club will even feature teachers from the book with their own classroom examples.

In this Book Talk Live, we spoke with Lester and Katie about the book club and they revealed some of the inspiration behind the book, and their foundation for diverse and inclusive literature practices.

Check out the video below and be sure to join the Reading to Make a Difference Facebook Group to become a part of the summer reading fun!
