Heinemann Wins "Most Improved Team" In 2016 Commute Smart B2B Challenge!

Through June, Heinemann participated in the Commute Smart B2b Challenge, a business-to-business competition to see who has the greenest, smartest, most intentional and conscientious commuters. Carpoolers, bikers, walkers, bus riders, and stationary telecommuters joined to shrink the carbon footprint of the Seacoast.

We didn't win, but we had fun. And we remain committed to keeping the Seacoast green and sustainable.

From Natalie Pavlov, who worked all June to remind everyone to #commutesmart:

We are pleased to announce that Heinemann took home two of the most coveted awards at last night's CommuteSmart After Party:  Best Social Media Buzz - The competition here was fierce!  And Most Improved Team - where we absolutely blew the competition away!  Heinemann also boasted five Honor Roll members, employees who commuted smart every day of the Challenge: Jeff, Hannah, Marisa, Amy, and Tom.  We are so proud of these accomplishments and so appreciative of your efforts to make this happen.

As reported earlier in the week, Heinemann logged the most Smart Commute trips during the two-week challenge of all companies that participated.  However, since the award for the most sustainable trips was calculated on a per capita basis, we were edged out in our size category by our friends at Loftware.  Still, it was the high-spirited competition between Loftware and Heinemann that propelled us to the finish, and we told them we'd be back for them next year!
